H Halsey είχε γενέθλια και μας έκανε δώρο. Η 25χρονη, πλέον, τραγουδίστρια, “ανέβασε” τα μεσάνυχτα των γενεθλίων της, το νέο τραγούδι CLEMENTINE, το οποίο θα περιλαμβάνεται στο album της, MANIAC.

Πρόκειται για ένα anthemic pop κομμάτι σε παραγωγή του John Cunningham και είναι αρκετά ποιητικό, αν και το refrain είναι κάπως αντιφατικό με τη γενικότερη διάθεση του κομματιού. Από εκεί, που μιλάει για τον δικό της κόσμο ξαφνικά μεταφέρεται στην πραγματικότητα και φωνάζει πως “δεν χρειάζεται κανέναν”.

Είναι προφανές, πως οι σκηνοθέτες Dani Vitale και Anton Tammi απέδωσαν στο video clip το προσωπικό μήνυμα της Halsey και φαίνεται πως το τραγούδι είναι ένα δείγμα του πόσο έχει ωριμάσει η τραγουδίστρια.

Την προηγούμενη εβδομάδα, η Halsey ανακοίνωσε τις ημερομηνίες για την επερχόμενη παγκόσμια περιοδεία της, MANIAC WORLD TOUR.
