Ανακοινώθηκαν πριν λίγες ώρες στο Λονδίνο οι υποψηφιότητες για τα “βρετανικά Όσκαρ”, τα βραβεία BAFTA, οι οποίες ενίσχυσαν το στερεότυπο για το βρετανικό σνομπισμό αφήνοντας εξ’ολοκλήρου εκτός των μεγάλων κατηγοριών τον “Κύριο Τέρνερ”, μια από τις πιο αγαπημένες ταινίες των απανταχού κριτικών για το 2014 και βραβευμένη στις Κάννες για την ερμηνεία του Timothy Spall.

Το “Ξενοδοχείο Grand Budapest” του Wes Anderson είχε πολύ καλύτερη τύχη από τη βιογραφική ταινία του Mike Leigh, σκοράροντας 11 υποψηφιότητες σε μικρές και μεγάλες κατηγορίες. Ευχάριστη έκπληξη αποτελεί η εμφάνιση του “Paddington” στην 5άδα των καλύτερων διασκευασμένων σεναρίων, ενώ πολύ καλά συνεχίζει να τα πηγαίνει και το “Nightcrawler” του Tony Gilroy. Η απονομή των βραβείων θα πραγματοποιηθεί στις 8 Φεβρουαρίου. Θυμηθείτε τις υποψηφιότητες των Writers Guild Awards που ανακοινώθηκαν χθες, ΕΔΩ.
